Past the hurdle

It was a slog, and ended up dividing this part into two chapters, but finally past a pivot in the novella. I find when I write that it's an exhausting process because I spend my time watching and listening and writing down what I see and hear.

In this novella, I'm writing in first person, which is a challenge, because I can only be in the main characters mind and only interpret the plot through his experience. I'd be interested to hear from other authors about their process.

I'd also love to hear from other creators (or any kind) about process - photography, cooking, painting... it's all the same on some level
