Gurus...

I've noticed a lot of gurus available for writers and pretty much anything you do. There seems to be someone who has all the answers (or pretends to). I don't really think there can ever be any one person who has all the answers for everyone, every time.

I have my confirmation biases. I will listen to people who resonate with my current beliefs, but that doesn't mean that I'm not open to other ideas and suggestions. I hope that I get my wisdom where I get it.

There's an old saying of the Buddha "If you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him."

So far I haven't met the Buddha...
