Just started on research for my next novella, which will be a gay historical romance novella.

Research has never been my forte, but I want to get the districts correct and, as this is set in London, England in 1717, I have to get, not only the city right, but the dress, the food, the language (there's a rabbit hole), and other aspects of life in 18th Century England in line.

While it's been a challenge, I'm learning a lot about a period about which I know the music and some historical pieces, but I'm delving into subcultures and that's where it gets even more complicated.
